חב' הקונגרס ראשידה טליב- מתכננת סיור לחברי הקונגרס "בשטחים הכבושים" באוגוסט הקרוב
חברת הקונגרס ראשידה טלאיב מנסה לעשות מחטף לטראמפ ולהוביל משלחת קונגרס ליהודה ושומרון.האירוע ,מתוכנן בין ה -17 באוגוסט ל -22 באוגוסט. הוא נועד להעניק לקונגרס מבט חטוף על הצד הפלסטיני של הסכסוך הישראלי-פלסטיני, אמרה טלאיב ל- Jewish Insider.
"זה יעזור אנשים יראו את ההשפעה האנושית על הפלסטינים, ואיזו הזדמנות יש להם חבר קונגרס שיש לו סבתא חיה בשטחים הכבושים", אמרה.
הביקור יתרחש במקביל לנסיעות לישראל למחוקקים חדשים, שאירחה קבוצת השדולה הפרו-ישראלית, איפא"ק. הטיולים האלה מתוכננים בתחילתו של כל מפגש חקיקה, והם חלק ממסורת לחברי הקונגרס
שלושה חברי קונגרס ראשונים הודיעו לטאליב כי הם דוחים את הזמנתה, אלכסנדריה אוקסיו-קורטז ואילן עומר, כולם אמרו שהם לא ייסעו לישראל.
לא ברור אם מחוקקים אחרים יצטרפו לטליב.
ההזמנה שהוציאה מבקשת מאחרים להצטרף אליה לטיול ל"שטחים הכבושים בפלסטין ".

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea
shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed
the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab
inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
